I had a good 9 days racing in Switzerland the past 2 weeks and it was successful for the both the team and I . Winning a stage in the prestigious Tour de Suisse with Michael Matthews and a couple close calls from the breakaways it was a good week.

As far as things are going with me , I was a little disappointed not to walk away with a result but that being said I was happy my condition was improving after getting sick prior to the Dauphine and having to switch to the Tour de Suisse one week later. The tour was solid and we covered roughly 1300km with two time trials in there over the 9 days which made it a very solid block of racing .

I'll be back home in Spain the next couple of days recovering from a hectic couple days in Switzerland . I look forward to some roads without so much road furniture and just riding for a little before all the madness and craziness begins .

I guess the next question is what's happening with the Tour de France selection for our team . I am sure we will have an announcement in the next week or so , hopefully you find my name on the roster
